VEHICLE OVERVIEW

Regarded by many as the last Porsche to retain the classic 911 shape the 964 has become more appreciated over the last few years and are seen by some enthusiasts, “as the one to have”. This has resulted in prices rocketing for even “average” cars therefore the investment potential for this rarely available “pristine” example would make a very wise purchase. This lovely late model 964 was first registered new at Porsche Bath in March 1993 making it a genuine C16 UK car. The car has been owned for the last 11 years by a leading light in the Scottish area of the Independent Porsche Club and was regularly on “show” at most Porsche or Classic events. It comes with an exceptional history file covering the extensive care this car has been lavished with over the years.  Finished in Guards Red with Marble Grey leather it looks fantastic in one of the most popular colour combinations. The car is in fabulous condition.

Bodywork –
As can be seen from the photographs the car looks outstanding in Guards Red and equally as good inside and underneath. The previous owner/owners have documented in fine detail every piece of work/parts or maintenance carried out, even down to photographic evidence which only highlights the tlc this car has been given over the years.

Cabriolet Top and Porsche Alloys –
The hood is in perfect condition and the electric mechanism works as should do. The Genuine 17”Cup 1 alloys are in perfect condition with all the original Porsche markings on the wheels looking as good as the day it left the factory.

Mechanically –
This car looks every bit as good underneath as it does on top. We have attempted to show this by taking photographs with the under trays off, many components underneath have been detailed and any parts that should be undersealed, regularly done.
A summary of the work that has been lavished on the car has also been included in the photo pack. Please review the photographs as it is too vast and cannot be properly listed here but some highlights are, top end engine rebuild at 70,000 miles, engine/gearbox removed this year to complete major service and fit new clutch, new slave cylinder, front suspension rebuild, steering rack rebuild and refurbished starter motor.

Interior –
The interior condition is in line with the rest of the car, pristine. This car has been fitted with factory optioned  sport seats, only some slight expected wear on the drivers side bolster piping can be seen and the carpets and over mats etc look like the day they left the factory. The car has been fitted with the desirable 964 “RS” steering wheel, a common upgrade which looks and feels great.

Please contact us to view an extensive range of photographs including, service history records, a summary of work carried out by the previous owner, a list of all previous owners and additional car photographs both on top and underneath.
